Scones
1 Tablespoon yeast
2 cups warmed buttermilk
1/2 cup luke-warm water
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon sugar
6 Tablespoons oil
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
3 teaspoons baking powder
Flour to make a soft dough

Dissolve the yeast in the warm water, add sugar and let rise.
Mix the yeast in with the buttermilk
Beat the eggs and add to the liquid
Add the oil and small amount of flour, also the salt, soda and baking powder.
Continue adding flour to make a soft dough. Mix until smooth.
Turn onto floured counter top and kneed until it is smooth but soft.
Let it rise
Cut into small pieces and fry in oil.
